Westgold CEO Bramwell’s staggering new salary
The boss of Westgold Resources is set for a tidy $275,000 pay increase and upwards of $4 million in company shares, launching him up the ranks of WA’s best-paid gold mining executives.
Westgold’s chief executive and managing director Wayne Bramwell’s annual fixed remuneration, excluding superannuation, was hiked up to $925,000 effective March 1.
In a statement to the market on Wednesday, the company explained the 42 per cent increase was decided following “an independent market and peer review” and reflected “current market conditions and the demand for experienced mining executives”.
