Desperate independent schools’ plea to Cook for $25m in help
Falling apart classrooms and inadequate facilities have WA’s independent schools pleading for $25 million in taxpayer funds from the State Government in the upcoming Budget.
The Association of Independent Schools of WA is asking the Cook Gvernment to throw it a line to help bring schools up to speed with others across the State.
Independent schools with the highest needs, often in remote regions, were the most disadvantaged, according to AISWA executive director Chris Massey.
