Collie PhD student awarded scholarship for cancer research
A PhD student from Collie has been awarded a 2025 Westpac Future Leaders scholarship for her research about treating cancer.
Hayley Ingram was one of 17 postgraduate students from across the country to receive a portion of more than $2 million in scholarships to tackle some of Australia’s greatest challenges.
Ms Ingram is beginning her research on the power of RNA technology — a genetic code which tells cells to make specific proteins — to treat cancer.
