Canberra confirms $1.03b landing craft deal for Henderson
A $1.03 billion Federal Government contract has confirmed Henderson shipbuilder Austal as the builder of new medium-sized landing craft for the Australian Army.
Eighteen of the steel vessels will be built to an Austal design at Henderson over six years under the Government’s recently-finalised strategic shipbuilding agreement with the ASX-listed company.
